Empirical evidence for eternity: from quantum rise and fall to macroscopic promise
“While meteorites brought amino acids to Earth 3.8 billion years ago, carbon silica solidified the universe's law of increasing entropy in the laboratory.”
The inside of the ring is laser-engraved with the coordinates of the solar system (RA 18h 36m 56.3s, Dec +38°47′01″), symbolizing the orientation of the Mona Lisa crater where life began. The bottom of the main stone is micro-engraved with the Schrödinger equation wave function, a metaphor for the collapse and eternity of love in the moment of observation.
DESIGN INSPIRATION: The frozen aesthetic of interstellar impacts
In 1976, the ilmenite meteorite brought back from the moon by Apollo 20 was found to have a fusion recrystallization structure that locked in the stardust glow. This wedding ring is modeled after the geometric fission of a meteorite impact crater, with the radioactive openwork lines of the band simulating the plasma flow of the meteorite as it crashes to the ground, and the fire color of the main stone replicating the quantum entanglement effect of the solar wind and interstellar dust.
